Tragedy Turned Miracle

I'm Logan, and I'd like to tell you how the Happy Jack Float came about. One summer day when I was just a little kid, I fell off a tree swing at my Paw Paw's camp. Suffering multiple injuries, the worst being a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), I wasn't expected to live. I was in a coma for 3 weeks and spent a summer at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. But through lots of prayer, that tragedy became a miracle.

With those prayers and tons of therapy, I'm now talking up a storm and moving along with some limitations. For one limitation, I needed a Maw Maw and Paw Paw remedy. I love the water; love to swim, but traditional pool floats are hard for me to maneuver - slipping and sliding off. Know what I mean? But Maw Maw and Paw Paw had a great idea: grab some foam, a few zip ties and away they went.

The Happy Jack Float was born. I loved it. So did my Mom, Dad, brother, sister, friends and a kid down the street. So we made more. Maw Maw added cup-holder eyes and a big smile, like mine when I'm floating on it.
